On October 9th, Dr. Kerry Buckley, MITRE Vice President for Air Force Programs, the Air Force Cyber Operations team, and representatives from MITRE’s Bridging Innovation team traveled to Austin, Texas to meet with organizations in the defense innovation ecosystem. Stops included AFWERX Austin, Capital Factory, and MassChallenge Texas. The goal of the trip was to introduce Dr. Buckley to the Austin innovation ecosystem and share how new partnerships are being created to support our Air Force sponsors.
Working with the Bridging Innovation team, MITRE’s AF Cyber Operations team is engaging with and embedding into the Austin innovation ecosystem, and will leverage the Austin-San Antonio innovation corridor to prepare for a Pitch Day in 2020.
